Welcome to Strata. By accessing or using Strata, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be 13 years or older to use Strata. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. User Accounts

When signing in via Google OAuth, you must provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Strata. Prohibited activities include:

Engaging in illegal activity, harassment, or intellectual property infringement.
Reverse engineering, attempting unauthorized access, or interfering with Strata’s infrastructure.
Uploading harmful, malicious, or inappropriate content.
Creating XR experiences that irresponsibly block or obscure a user’s field of view, or pose safety risks.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Strata. By uploading, you grant Strata a limited license to store and process your content for the purpose of providing the service. You are solely responsible for your content.

5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Strata is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We are not responsible for:
- User-generated content.
- Damages arising from misuse of Strata.
- XR-related injuries or unsafe usage.
- Service interruptions, bugs, or availability issues.
Strata uses third-party providers such as Supabase, Google, and Vercel to operate. We are not responsible for the actions, data handling, or outages of these third-party services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior. You may stop using Strata at any time by discontinuing your account.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

8. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, we will notify users through Strata or via email. Continued use of the service indicates acceptance of the new Terms.
